Community-Centered Clay
Did you know that working with clay has therapeutic benefits? Studies have shown that clay provides a host of benefits including but not limited to:
helping reduce stress and anxiety
giving people a sense of accomplishment
helping process grief
improving decision- making skills
and growing an optimistic outlook.
We fully believe in the power of clay and want to make sure the people who need these benefits most can access them. This is why we started this program. It’s our hope that the most vulnerable and marginalized people in our community can gain that access through the nonprofits that serve them. Below are a few of the ways we’re building connection through clay:
Community Clay
One-time pottery sessions for local nonprofits, schools, and service groups
Through partnerships with local organizations, Community Clay brings hands-on pottery experiences to clients and students who may not otherwise have access to art programs. These group sessions promote creativity, mindfulness, and connection.

CLAY & CONNECTION
A dedicated pottery program for veterans
Clay & Connection offers regular hand-building sessions for veterans in a calm, welcoming space. Working with clay is proven to reduce stress and support emotional health—especially for those living with PTSD. Veterans may choose to keep their work or have it recycled, and all are invited to participate in an annual art show.
